Amiee Maguire, Charity Manager at Cash for Kids, said:

We’re delighted with the results of this year’s challenge and so proud of all the clubs that took part. It’s incredible to see what can be achieved when teamwork, ambition and a shared goal come together. We know how difficult it can be for grassroots sports clubs to secure funding and the Sports Challenge provides a great way for them to become more self-sufficient. Our mission is to help ensure local clubs continue to thrive for years to come and we’re very grateful for the partnership between Cash for Kids and the Tees Foundation.”

A big thank you also goes to Tees Active for supporting the event by donating family passes and scratch cards for the awards night, helping to make the celebration even more special.
