How can I make a difference?

Donating to community grant funds creates a legacy with long-lasting reach in your local community.

The fundamental aim of the Foundation is to harness the power of philanthropy to build and maintain a fund to help the community, now and into the future.  Tees Foundation has successfully grown a fund of more than £20 million; this is expertly invested to provide income that we distribute to hundreds of worthy community causes throughout Teesside, every year.  We want to continue to build this fund to £25 million and beyond.

You can join us, as a partner donor, by donating to community grant funds.  This helps us in our mission to improve the lives of those in our community, now and into the future.

If you’re interested in donating to community grant funds, or you represent an individual or a company that is, please get in touch using the Contact Us form and Hugh McGouran, Tees Foundation Chief Executive, will respond to you personally.

Donating to community grant funds

Our purpose is to grow and manage giving and philanthropy in Teesside.  We match generous people and organisations with important community causes that exist to improve peoples’ lives.  We set up charitable funds for many different kinds of donors from all walks of life,  and its through that generosity that we can support hundreds
of small, local charities and community organisations every year with grants and guidance.

Who we’ve helped

Our aim is to improve the quality of life of the people of Teesside and we’re passionate about empowering local communities to address disadvantage and exclusion.
